Burnett Dairy Pizza Enters a New Chapter as Production Expands

GRANTSBURG, WI — Burnett Dairy Cooperative is expanding its wholesale frozen pizza production to a larger facility as demand for its pizzas continues to grow. As part of this transition, the Pizza Kitchen retail location at 709 State Road 70 in Grantsburg, Wisconsin, will close on Monday, September 21, 2026. The Grantsburg Cheese Store, located at 11631 State Road 70, will remain open and continue serving customers as usual.

The Pizza Kitchen originally served as a dedicated production space for Burnett Dairy’s wholesale pizza business. As demand for Burnett Dairy pizzas continues to increase, Burnett Dairy is moving production to a larger facility to better support its wholesale customers and continue expanding the availability of its pizzas.

 “This is an exciting step forward for our pizza brand and for the communities we serve,” said Jamie Swan, Vice President of Retail Operations. “We’re grateful for the tremendous support our customers have shown for Burnett Dairy pizzas, and we’re excited to have the opportunity to expand production and bring our pizzas to even more people.”

While the Pizza Kitchen retail location will be closing, Burnett Dairy pizzas aren’t going anywhere. Customers can continue to enjoy Burnett Dairy Pizza, along with other cooperative products, at their local retailers and at all three Burnett Dairy locations in Grantsburg and Wilson, Wisconsin, and Duluth, Minnesota.
